Why this site exists
Dusklight was previously known as Dusk, so current information is split across old search terms, release discussions, videos, GitHub links, and platform-specific questions. Dusklight Wiki organizes those tasks around the current project name while still explaining that Dusk Twilight Princess, Project Dusk, and Dusklight refer to the same evolving reimplementation.
The site is designed around the questions people need answered before and after a download: which architecture matches a device, where the verified file comes from, what the application includes, why users must supply their own game data, which graphics APIs matter, and how to test a clean setup before adding modifications.
Our source policy
Release versions, dates, filenames, sizes, supported platforms, changelog items, and installation facts are checked against the official TwilitRealm website, GitHub repository, release assets, README, and installation documentation. Every direct application download on this site points to the verified TwilitRealm GitHub release rather than an anonymous mirror.
Facts can change after publication. Each download-focused page records the version and verification date used during its update. When official documentation conflicts with an older guide, the current official source takes priority. Readers can report a stale link or factual correction at support@dusklight.blog.
Independence and trademarks
Dusklight Wiki is an independent fan-run information site. It is not operated by, affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by TwilitRealm or Nintendo. Dusklight is developed by TwilitRealm. The Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess, Nintendo, and related names, characters, art, music, and game assets belong to their respective owners.
Official project screenshots are identified as official TwilitRealm media. Their use here provides factual context for the software and does not imply that this site is the official project website. Links to GitHub, the official install guide, and project channels are provided so readers can verify important information at the source.
What we do not host
Dusklight releases contain the open-source application and do not contain Nintendo's copyrighted Twilight Princess game data. This site does not host or link ROMs, ISO images, RVZ files, encryption keys, cracked games, repacks, bypass tools, extracted textures, music, dialogue, or other copyrighted game assets.
Players must create a valid dump from their own supported GameCube copy and follow the laws that apply where they live. Search demand for a ROM or complete game download does not change that boundary. Pages discussing ISO or RVZ formats explain the official user-provided setup workflow rather than offering files.
How the guides are maintained
Core pages are separated by intent so a Windows user does not have to sort through Android sideloading, and a Steam Deck user can find AppImage permission steps without reading an unrelated PC installer guide. Related links connect platform pages to installation, requirements, mods, and troubleshooting only when the next step is useful.
We avoid invented specifications. When official sources do not publish a universal CPU model, RAM minimum, save path, performance guarantee, or compatibility promise, the guide says so. Advice is framed as a diagnostic workflow rather than an unsupported official requirement.
Contact and corrections
Send factual corrections, stale release reports, accessibility feedback, or site questions to support@dusklight.blog. Useful reports include the page URL, the statement or link in question, the current official source, and the date you checked it.
For software bugs, build problems, feature requests, and project development questions, use the official TwilitRealm GitHub repository or community channels. Dusklight Wiki can correct its guide but cannot change the Dusklight application or provide official technical support on behalf of the developers.
